Our Hero, Father, and Teacher Malcolm X
I can remember as a young boy growing up and seeing ny parents and family talk about the brother Malcolm X and the things that they would say about him. To me he sounded like a hero, better yet a superhero the way my Father would say that is a bad man, because of the way that he would speak and stand behind what he would say. As i began to grow older and read about him myself i could see why he was such an important figure to the Black Race as a whole.
For me the turning point was when i found out that the villian this pig ass govt and their pig ass cohorts set the brother up to be assassinated. The lengths that this country goes to extinguish the message of Black Nationalism, and Black Solidarity that this Great and powerful Brother was preaching. This was not only astounding but rather awakening because now i knew as a young Black Man who my real enemy was.
Today is Malcolm X’s born day and i believe that it is imperitive for us the Black Race to get back upon the Mentality that he was on. We need to reawaken this spirit and these beliefs in our selves and our communities again and this time never let go of them. As he had said “ You and i have never seen Democracy all we’ve seen is Hypocrisy”.
With the constant attacks that are coming at the Black Race by the very systems and organizations that are sworn to protect and serve. There would be no better time to put his beliefs and pratices back into effect. We are all we got in this country and it should be obvious by now that we can never depend on this system to do anything that they say when it pertains to the Black Race.
It is time for some tuff talk, some hard truths to be spoken in order to motivate us and get that fire up under our asses to be lit again. it is time for Revolution, It is time for Black Men to take back the reins of our lives and start to control our own communities in every way, Politically, Economically, and Socially. We can no longer rely or depend on those that kill us at will to protect us from themselves. This is an insane mentality to beleive that the enemy is going to protect you and your family when they are killing us everyday. This is like asking the wolves to not eat the sheep.
Since the assassination of Malcolm X we can see how far we The Black Race have staryed from the Path that he had Blazed for us to follow. Now we have our youth and some adults folloeing the most ignorant shit just because it is trending. Gone are the days that we have those that have Balls and say what they mean and stand behind it no matter what. We need to reignite this passion in all of us. because we know that if The King were here today he would have some harsh words and hard truths for us to hear.. in order for us to get back on track. In the words of Malcolm X “Its time to stop singing and its time to start swinging”
